Welcome to NIF Israel. Through our Jerusalem office we award grants to carefully selected organizations that are working for social change in the country. We oversee and professionally monitor these grants, directly implement programs on key NIF issues, keep donors worldwide informed about accomplishments in Israel, coordinate fundraising, offer public education and study tour programs, and initiate domestic and foreign media coverage of NIF activities.
Shatil, the Empowerment and Training Center for Social Change Organizations, is an integral component of NIF Israel. From offices in Jerusalem, Haifa and Beer Sheva, Shatil works closely with NGOs providing guidance and technical assistance on a full range of organizational and programmatic issues faced by non-profit groups, complementing the financial support provided by NIF.
