With a rich background in education, organizational development and community activism, and a special focus on women's rights, Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi is the founding Executive Director of Injaz Center for Professional Arab Local Governance. Ms. Rinawie-Zoabi was recently noted as a social innovator by the Israeli economic magazine The Marker and chosen as one of the 100 "most influential persons in Israel," the only female Arab citizen included on this list.
Injaz Center for Professional Arab Local Governance is a dynamic Arab-Israeli organization working to raise awareness and improve the capacity of Arab leadership within local authorities, towns and villages in Israel; to advance social and economic development for Arab citizens; and to reach greater social equality in Israel. In its initial years of operation Injaz has already earned kudos for its approach and impact.
