 Sasson</strong> is former Director of the Department for Special Tasks in 
 Israel’s State Attorney’s Office. At the request of then Prime Ministe
 r Ariel Sharon\, she served as special legal advisor for the government an
 d author of the Sasson Report on settlements and illegal outposts in the P
 alestinian territories. She serves on several boards including the New Isr
 ael Fund (NIF) and the Council for Peace and Security. She is a member of 
 the Geneva Initiative’s steering committee.</p>\n<p> </p>
