 ement against Israeli citizens and residents of African descent have made 
 headlines this year.Â  Join us to learn about NIF grantee <i>Friends by Na
 tureâ€™s </i>unique and successful model for supporting Israelâ€™s Ethiopi
 an youth-at-risk and their families.Â  Founded by a cohort of likeminded a
 ctivistsâ€”both of Ethiopian descent and notâ€”Friends by Nature â€“ Commu
 nity Empowerment (FBN) developed the Gedera Community Garin.Â  A group of 
 families and young adults who choose to live in this town in the Israeli p
 eriphery\, which faces severe economic and social challenges and is home t
 o a significant Ethiopian population\, their mission is to take responsibi
 lity for the long-term success of the community\, with particular focus on
  its youth\, many of whom are at high risk for school drop-out and falling
  between the cracks of the social safety net.</span></p>\n<span style='fon
