[ATL] Domestic Challenges of Israeli Democracy

On March 10, NIF supporters have a unique opportunity to hear Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi, Director of NIF grantee INJAZ: The Center for Professional Arab Local Governance, who will be participating in an exciting panel discussion on the domestic challenges of Israeli democracy. The 5:45 event will be held at the annual plenum of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead.

While regular admission to the day of JCPA sessions is $75, JCPA is providing a special rate for NIF supporters of only $10. In order to attend, you must register in advance here and make sure to select the Monday breakout session, "Israeli Domestic Concerns."

Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi is Director and co-founder of INJAZ: The Center for Professional Arab Local Governance, a post she has held since 2008. Previously, she directed the Development Unit at the National Committee for Arab Local Councils. Ms. Rinawie-Zoabi co-directed the Peace Education Department of the Israeli/Palestinian Center for Research and Information and is currently a board member of Women Against Violence and a member of the International Women's Commission for Peace. In a special issue of the economic magazine The Marker in 2011, Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi was chosen as one of the 100 "most influential persons in Israel."
