[Boston New Gen] Israel Cafe

Tuesday 25 March 2014, 06:30pm - 08:00pm
Israel Café is an educational and social program for young adults sponsored by New Generations and The Riverway Project.

Facilitator Zohar Avigdori from the Israeli educational center Hechalutz will lead a session entitled "Between Zionism and Hasbara: the meaning of responsible critcism in Zionist views."  In this session we will discuss what it means to be critically analyzing Israel and still maintain a responsible and loving approach towards it, and will show how this combination can take Israel and Zionism to a better place.
We will bring the speaker, as well as the free food and drink (vegetarian, but not kosher - please be in touch if you need a kosher option)-- you just bring the conversation and friends! This is a perfect chance to learn and discuss in a relaxed setting, hear different perspectives, and get to know one another.
