Reut Cohen is an aspiring Israeli civil rights attorney and a veteran activist for equality in her home town of Haifa. Reut’s journey from citizen to student activist to young social protest leader and now civil rights litigator opens a window into the struggles and victories of democracy in one of Israel’s most diverse cities. Her activism spans feminism in Hebrew pop culture, public funding for anti-homophobia education, Jewish-Arab equality, and social justice for all Israelis.
