Host a house party for social justice in Israel: we’ll provide you with the tools and resources to plan and lead a discussion about the most current issues affecting Israeli society, from migrant workers in the country, to the debate about civil marriage, to women’s rights, and more.

I came back from a year in Israel all fired up to do what I could to strengthen the country in whatever meaningful ways I could. I asked my smart Israeli friends which organizations were doing the most on the ground to work for positive change, and the New Israel Fund was far and away the most frequently mentioned, with lots of real world examples.

Join the New Generations Israel Trip on October 23-31, 2009. The trip is an 8-day study tour for those interested in learning about grassroots social activism and social change in Israel today. The itinerary includes visits with New Israel Fund grantee organizations, discussions with activists and journalists, as well as social and cultural programs.

I support NIF because I want to support the State of Israel in a righteous and honest way. I want a State of Israel that welcomes the whole spectrum of Jewish life, and that addresses the challenges it faces in its civil society head on.
