Honoring Peter Edelman

After six years, Peter Edelmen's terms as President of NIF's Board of Directors has come to an end.  Peter has been an outstanding President, and to honor his achievements and contributions, NIF hosted receptions around the country. They were held in Boston on May 9th at the home of Alan and Susan Solomont, in Washington, DC on May 20th at the Decatur House, in Chicago on June 14th at the Spertus Museum and in NYC on June 16th at the Prince George Ballroom.

Peter has demonstrated tremendous leadership of NIF.  We have been impressed by his analytical power, his willingness to engage in difficult dialogue, and his steady hand and generous heart in steering NIF through Israel’s complex social and political landscape.
