Alice Shalvi – pioneer of Israel’s feminist movement, life-long advocate for Jewish education, and leader in creating a more just society in Israel – has been awarded Israel’s highest honor for her “Lifetime Achievements and Special Contribution to Society and the State of Israel.” She is a member of the New Israel Fund’s International Council.
