Jews and Arabs live in adjoining neighborhoods in Israel's five "mixed cities" -- Jaffa, Ramla, Lod, Haifa, and Akko – but there are enormous disparities between the housing, infrastructure and services available to them. SHATIL's Mixed Cities Project advocates for the housing and land needs of Arab residents of the mixed cities, prepares alternative urban plans, and trains and mobilizes residents to take action on their own behalf.
