A group of Torontonians gathered to hear Jim Gerstein, media and communications consultant with extensive experience on Middle East issues, at the home of New Israel Fund of Canada president Dr. Isser Dubinsky. Gerstein spoke of the dynamics in the political scene in Israel, the Palestinian camp and the US administration leading up to the Annapolis meeting. Gerstein also spoke about the growing polarization in Israel and underscored the important leadership role that NIF plays in addressing some of Israel’s most challenging issues.
