In response to the recent deterioration in Jewish-Arab relations in Israel, NIF has put out a special call for organizations, NGOs, and individuals to submit proposals whose goal is to calm tensions and promote dialogue between Jews and Arabs.

The following activities are eligible for a grant:

• Joint Jewish-Arab projects whose goal is to calm the situation and to promote shared society.
• Activities whose goal is to promote freedom of expression and the right of all Israeli citizens to protest (as long as the protests are peaceful).
• Activities in East Jerusalem whose goal is to protect the rights of Palestinian residents and to promote dialogue between Jewish and Palestinian residents of Jerusalem.

NIF has already received dozens of applications, including a number of initiatives from new groups. We aim to help as many of them as possible in carrying out their vital work.
