The Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for the CEO and VP of Operations & Administration. This position provides exposure to and requires support of all levels of NIF’s leadership and operations. The Coordinator handles a wide range of high level administrative and executive support tasks that involve effective communication and interaction with the CEO, the VP, the Board of Directors and all staff. It requires someone who is well-organized, detail oriented, flexible, discreet, strong on follow-through and relationship-building, creative, and a quick learner and demonstrates excellent judgment and discretion.

LOCATION: NIF’s San Francisco office

START DATE: Immediately


Support the NIF CEO in all aspects of leading the organization, including:

  • Arrange and ensure follow up for CEO’s meetings and scheduling;
  • Manage correspondence and phone calls;
  • Coordinate travel schedule and logistics;
  • Prepare background materials, and follow-up plans, for meetings and events;
  • Help coordinate board meetings, including creating and maintaining records, handling logistics in advance and on site;
  • Provide support for the Board President, as necessary;
  • Coordinate projects between CEO and other executive staff;
  • Prepare expense reports, reimbursement forms and other tracking and administrative reports;
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

Support the VP of Operations & Administration in all aspects of the internal management of the organization, including:

  • Arrange and ensure follow up for VP’s meetings and schedule;
  • Manage correspondence and phone calls;
  • Handle travel arrangements and logistics;
  • Prepare all necessary materials for meetings and events;
  • Assist with project management;
  • Research operational and process improvements;
  • Prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Strong professional demeanor and communications skills;
  • High proficiency in web research, MS Word, Excel, emerging technologies, and general knowledge of computer maintenance and functions;
  • Familiarity with and strong commitment to Israel, social justice, and NIF’s mission.
