In the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, Israeli activists were moving quickly to ensure that the government’s responses to the pandemic would keep people safe, address the needs of all people, and uphold democratic norms. This meant fighting for equal access to government services, the right to privacy, and Israel’s democratic institutions.
