Harry is the Director for Policy and Strategy at the New Israel Fund, where he leads NIF policy planning, shaping NIF’s positioning on public policy issues and designing strategies towards achieving those aims. As a senior member of NIF’s Public Engagement Team, Harry develops NIF’s approach to core issues and translate those approaches into communications materials, local and national community engagement opportunities, and programs.
Harry brings to NIF experience in non-profit innovation and strategy alongside policy expertise on U.S. Middle East policy. As Special Assistant to the CEO of ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt, Harry served as strategy advisor and was responsible for launching new programs and partnerships to catalyze organizational transformation and foster policy innovation. Prior, as Research Associate at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Harry worked with Ambassador Dennis Ross, former National Security Council director, supporting his research on the history of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Harry’s policy portfolio included Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and the P5+1 negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program. He is a member of the ROI Community of the Schusterman Foundation, and was awarded a Dorot Fellowship in Israel 2017-18. Harry graduated with a B.A. in History from Brown University and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
