Susan Snider

Susan is a former clinical social worker and has been engaged in philanthropy and volunteer work with non-profit organizations in the Boston area for many years. She has served on several grant committees and co-chaired the Commission on Jewish Connection and Engagement at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Her parents were both very involved with the Haganah and the establishment of the State of Israel, and her late brother served in the IDF in 1973. She has family in Israel and has made numerous visits since 1959 and she studied in Jerusalem for six months.

Susan received a BA from the University of Rochester and a MSW from Boston University. She has three grown children and lives in Brookline, MA with her husband Jim.
