We Want to Hear from Women Agents of Change

8 March 2018

From social media to the streets, Israeli women are taking charge of their own civil rights and status in society, devising new and innovative strategies to make the case against sexual assault and harassment, discrimination and the exclusion of women in the public sphere and the corridors of power.

The New Israel Fund, the Dafna Fund and the National Council of Jewish Women have played a key role in the fight for women’s rights in the past decades and have contributed to some of the most significant achievements on Israel’s long road to equality. To mark International Women’s Day on March 8th, we are launching a new micro-grants pool that will award grants of $1,000-$5,000 to the most promising initiatives led by individuals and organizations that address:

  • Sexual assault, violence and harassment
  • Women’s political representation
  • Exclusion of women
  • Women in peace and security

We will give priority to:
