Residents of the Palestinian village east of Jerusalem won six more months to create a zoning plan for their community, halting looming demolitions.

Hundreds of Israeli activists traveled to the West Bank last week to plant trees in solidarity with the Palestinian village of Burin after extremist settlers targeted olive farmers and members of NIF grantee, Rabbis for Human Rights.

The Jerusalem Municipality demolished the Salhiya family home in Sheikh Jarrah in the middle of the night, leaving 15 residents cold and homeless.

Following a a major settler attack on Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills, NIF grantees and other human rights organizations organized a march to protest the violence and support Palestinians’ water rights.

Over 6,000 people, including multiple NIF grantees, rallied in Tel Aviv to protest planned annexation of parts of the West Bank.
