Mothers Against Violence, an NIF grantee, has sent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian region of Masafer Yatta in the south Hebron Hills, where 12 villages are under siege from the Israeli military and nearby Jewish settlements. The military claims the area as part of a “Firing Zone” to conduct military exercises, and is trying to expel the villagers from their ancestral homes. The villagers are refusing to leave despite intense pressure to do so from the IDF and nearby Israeli settlers.
The women from Mothers Against Violence brought supplies and aid to the schoolchildren of the region’s communities for the start of the new school year.
