Israel’s Attorney General Finds No Basis for Demands to Investigate NIF as Newest Im Tirtzu Attack Sparks Outrage

Last week, Israeli Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein rejected a demand from ultra-nationalists to open an investigation into NIF and 16 of its grantees. The original impetus for the investigation was last January’s report by a new organization named Im Tirtzu, that purported to show that negative information in the Goldstone report about the Gaza operation came almost entirely from NIF-sponsored organizations in the Israeli human rights community.
